Hi! I'm Ken from Tokyo, Japan. I worked at a Japanese advertising agency. Almost all the students here are discussing their brilliant career changes after graduation, but I'm FORTUNATELY sponsored by the agency, so UNFORTUNATELY I need to go back to the same company.
I'd like to let you know that Ross is much more DIVERSE than I had expected before coming to Ross. (キーメッセージ) For example, my MAP project is for a famous delivery pizza chain in US, and the team consists of 6 people with 7 nationalities: American, Mexican, Greek, Ukrainian, Belgian Lebanese, and Japanese. First 2 weeks it was CHAOS. If one member casted his idea, the other guy SHOT DOWN the idea from a different point of view.
In a field research trip, we gathered at a hotel room and talked over night to understand the difference of our cultural and business backgrounds. After this, we became a well-organized team and the project made a success. Our project is featured in MAP brochure! I learned how to manage a globally DIVERSIFIED team by this experience. (キーメッセージ) It's crucial for us to survive in the global business world.
Please come back to Ann Arbor as an incoming student. This is a really HEARTWARMING community, though the weather is a little bit COLD!
